Posting a listing

From the title to the price: what Chux asks for, how the category decides the rest, and what appears in the grid.

Six steps

Sign in and press Post a listing.
Pick the category. It decides which attributes you are asked for and how buyers find you.
Write the title: what it is, the make, the size or the model. Not “CHEAP, MUST GO”.
Fill in the attributes. Condition, size, year: exactly one of them appears on the card beside the price.
Upload the photographs. The first one is the cover.
Set the price and the place, and publish.

Price

A minimum price hides free listings; a maximum keeps them. They are filtered by the same number they are sorted by.

What a buyer sees in the grid

A card carries four things: the cover, two lines of title, the price with the town, and one attribute. Everything else (the description, the other photographs, the contact) waits until the listing is opened.

A title longer than two lines is cut. Put what matters first.
The attribute shown is the first numeric one the category asks for, otherwise the first choice from a list. “874 m²” says more than “Used”.
The date is the quietest thing on the card. Buyers look for it only once the price has their attention.

Promotion

TOP and VIP open the default order and add a mark to the cover.
Highlighted gives the card a gold ring and no mark.
Under a price sort a promoted listing keeps its place by amount. Somebody who asked for the cheapest first gets an answer to their question.
