Reporting something

Back to help

What to do about a listing, a review or an account that should not be here, and what happens next.

How to report

Every listing, review and profile carries a report control. Pick the reason closest to what is wrong and add a sentence: a link, a screenshot or what the seller actually said is worth more to a moderator than a strong adjective.

What happens next

The report joins a queue read by people. A moderator can remove the content, pause it, ask the seller to fix it, restrict the account or decide that nothing is wrong. Every decision is written down against a reason code, so the same problem gets the same answer twice.

You are told the outcome by mail. You are not told what happened to the other person's account, because that is theirs.

If it was your listing

A removal names its reason. Fix what the reason says and the listing can be posted again. If you think the decision is wrong, answer the mail: it opens a support case with the decision attached, and a second person reads it.
